....any recommendations on stuff to keep me busy? Going down on the train to collect a bike but will have a fair amount of time to kill. I suppose I could even go for a ride, if the weather ain't too bad?

There's a new cycle park thing somewhere near there..

And the Malta Inn is great for a pint if the suns out by the river.

Take the train to Bearsted Green, there's a big pub by the cricket green, get pissed watching crap cricket

Hire a car and drive between junction 5 and 8 of the M20 and admire the motorway I built in the early 1990's.

After spending 3 years there, that's All I can come up with.

I live in Maidstone. When are you around? Happy to show you some of the routes I do on the north downs, or from my house I can do a 60km ride with only about 3km of road, or happy to take you to Bedgebury as that's only about 25 minutes away?

Go to a pub, get pissed, rag your mk2 escort round the ring road.
Well that's what I used to see the locals do every time I went to Maidstone in my youth.

Pizza and violence was all on offer when I lived there. Apparently it's gone downhill since.

Well, this all sounds very inviting. I'll be there on Friday from around dinner time, if anyone is around. I think I may just end up finding a pub.
