I've had an idea, involving making a fork into a pedestrian load lugging wheel. Got so far into proof of concept using a normal fork, and concluded It would be best with a 135mm wide fork, such as a Surly Moonlander fork.
Any suggestions as to where I can get such a thing at significantly less than rrp on a moonlander forks (150 quid ish)
any budget alternatives?
Found these. Could work. Don't have any of the mounts the surly fork has but could then braze on the mounts exactly where I wanted them, but that would involve getting into brazing, which will cost more than the difference.
On One Fatty forks are 135 I think. They use rear disc spacing or something awkward like that.
They go for peanuts, just sold a set for a tenner.
Planet x do a steel rigid fork. A few different ones from about £80 I think.
