Read a few years ago about a RAAM rider used a bungee strap to hold his head up to finish the race.

The guy was a plum. Riding for 4.5 days pretty much solid was never going to end well.

Thats hardcore, dedication to suffering. Personally i'd tuck up in a travel Lodge & take a few weeks to do it!!
