5.5 hour run/hike in the mountains in the local National Park this morning, 30km in all. Lovely day for it, chilly start but sunny and not too much wind.

10km trot along the river towpath this evening for round 2 of a virtual race series. Not fast but it wasn't a painful struggle so there's that!

Not quite 5h on Hoth tho

Something a bit different today, a couple of hours of gardening. I'll sleep well tonight...

I've well and truly dropped the ball with this. A cold put pay to my efforts. Starting afresh from April 1st.

Clocking up my second non-active day today, mainly as I've been doing lots of life admin stuff. Not going to fret about it too much as I'm amazed I've even got to 80+ days out of 90 let alone 2 short of a clean sweep!

Club run (w00t) (all to regs - in pace groups of 6 or less etc) today, plus five minutes weights before I decided I wanted my tea NOW.
It's been inspiring seeing other posters out hiking in snow etc and kept me motivated. Some of you are proper hardcore!

Grrr - so close to nearly completing this and then Covid has taken me out of the game. So annoyed but hopefully will get back to light training in the next few days. I am still really happy with how I stuck to it though - far far better than I ever thought I would and would have been pretty much on for completing it had this not happened...

Well done to everyone who has taken part 🙂

Heading out later so will manage 88/90 days, I'll take that!

This has been a massive boost for me over the winter and through lockdown. Between this, chub club and the STW Zwift races it has definitely helped me keep my fitness up and the weight in check. I haven't lost anywhere near as much as I wanted to but if I hadn't done all this moving about I'd be in a much worse place on so many levels so it's done it's job. So I'll quote this from the original post on this thread from @stripeysocks

Thanks Chris – Most of us never knew you, but you are still acting as a role model today and I hope you would be pleased with how you’ve managed to encourage people to really get up and out and *live* their lives.

@munrobiker - your friend Chris has had a positive effect on me even though I have never met him and until this challenge didn't even know his story! I'll keep an eye out for this year's 100 day challenge in September.

Last run this evening.

That will make it 90 days of running g at least 10 miles per day every day. Total of 1,032 miles, unless I go further than 10 today, and at least 103,000ft of climbing.
Couple of days off coming up then back on the bike now its sunny again

Last walk today - another five miles. Missed two days for vaccine side effects. Not so bad and a lot better than the previous 90 days!

Out training again with the club tonight, then a run in the hills with my mates tomorrow. I might then take a couple of days off, could do with a proper rest.

That's the full 90 days complete. I'm thinking that I may carry on until I get a Covid jab, hopefully in the next couple of weeks or so.

@andrewh - bloody hell, I bet you don't have to watch what you eat!

@munrobiker - salute to Chris tonight.

Last day of 90 and I took the bike out for a quick spin for an hour (felt a bit clunky as I'd been digging up ivy roots before that).

@felltop presumably that means tho you are younger than some of us!

@reluctantjumper the weight just seems to cling desperately on doesn't it. Took me all of Jan to get back to my pre Xmas weigh in. And I have Easter eggs in the cupboard... Hmmm lots of long walks...

Until I have just read these latest posts, I hadn’t realised that the challenge has finished. Went out tonight for a quick 20 miles after work enjoying this great weather. I’m just going to carry on as I have been but not be too obsessed to miss a few days if I’m not feeling it. Congratulations to everyone who’s had a go, I really hope it’s improved your fitness and well being.

Great effort, especially @andrewh. This aren't rookie numbers!

March was almost a write off for me, feeling better now so onwards and upwards with April's challenges. See you all on September 16th?

Thanks. All done now. Theres a few other guys with some impressive numbers too, well done to all of you.
Mine are:
90 days of running ten miles or more each day
1,032.4 miles total
101,841ft of climbing.
.
I was expecting my knees to give up ages ago, but they're fine. I felt rubbish in early February but I guess I just got used to it and I feel fine again now. Had a couple of big climbing weeks in a row to hit the climbing target and that left me rather tired, makes you realise how much rest matters, 12 mile run as a commute with 2,700ft of climbs and I'm asleep on the sofa at 8pm🙈
Looking forward to a rest day now, and to riding in the sunshine.
Doing it again next year though, that was good.
Big thanks to Munrobiker and his friend Chris for putting the idea in my head, bit of extra motivation when the weather was **** really helped.

Great thread/challenge this and has inspired me to ride the bike every day for 90 days for at least 30 mins. Luckily no side effects of the jab so no gaps. Not sure how I'm going to stop now - especially with this weather 🙂 Congrats to everyone else.

This, along with the 100 day challenge has gone a long way to changing my attitude to getting up off my butt! I’ve had 3 days without exercise since Sept 14th and I’m still going! Think I’m going to quietly try for the full year! Thanks again @munrobiker for starting this, it has changed me forever (hopefully!).

I missed 2 days at the end of March as I was a bit ill however I had started on Xmas day so did 90 days solid. Mainly zwift with more outdoor rides in recent weeks. According to Strava I did 118 hours of exercise and 1,466 miles on the bike.

I made the 90 days and am still going, but as someone who was only sort of doing this incidentally, I think I've done alright to date:

14 rides, 251km, 4071m elevation gain, 21hrs total
27 runs, 404km, 7711m elevation gain, 53hrs total
93 walks (including my commute), 310km, 5832m elevation gain, 59hrs total
19 yoga sessions, 17:45hrs total.

I completed the full 90 days (and have continued). Done all of mine on Zwift.

3582km distance covered
21,289m climbed
114 hours

Aiming to cycle every day for the entire year. Doing this on the back of a very lazy 2020 and thinking I could complete the Festive 500 but failing at the 250km mark. I have to ride regularly as I'm ACL deficient so took the decision on January 1st to make riding every day something I had to do so that it eventually became a part of daily life and something I now make time for. It's usually just an hour but its better than nothing.

There's been days when I have gone for a walk as well as the cycling but I haven't counted that as I don't use a tracker so don't know how far I cover.

It’s great to read how this challenge along with the original one has resulted in exactly what Chris intended. My life has changed for the better as a result of exercising every day, I’m much fitter than I’ve ever been but more importantly, my whole outlook on life is more positive and is something for which I’m grateful. Thanks Chris.
