Ahh… looks like it’s just more suspicious Covid related procurement… from “Beautiful Brows”…

No gold plated eyebrows.

Tell me again how the f**** this is allowed?

Does anyone else have an employer that would let such things go on expenses?

There's a pandemic, employers are expected to look after staff.

Looks like it’s PPE or handsanitiser Matt. From yet another reputable source. It’ll all come out in the audit… [ ha! ]

No, but I can imagine that if any of us plebs pulled something like that, then HMRC would strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger !!

No, and neither does Priti Patel. Despite the list having a header that describes what the list is of, some people, for whatever reason are claiming that this is her expenses claim, even though it isn't.

Just googled this. Much as I despise the woman, the truth is an awful long way from the headline.

I'll stand corrected then.

Yes the headline is BS it's just another example of using shady companies to supply (or maybe not bother) PPE, which is fine apparently.

TBH though by this point I don't really care about 'fake news' against the government, why should one side bother trying to play fair when the other doesn't.

2k to a slimming consultant is definitely a PPE contract, why would she need it? The Kings Arms is much nicer and the Bookbinders is cheaper, maybe next time. Is this part of the 180k exes they usually claim in addition to their extra 200pw or is it special extras? Good way of shutting up the 'opposition' once they join you on the gravy train.

If that 2k is for a slimming consultant, if I was her I'd be asking for a refund..

The mind boggles! The whole Westminster thing needs to go and be reformed / reinvented completely.

The last thing any government really did that for me was of any use was the no smoking in pubs thing. Other than that, i cannot think of another thing that i thought is / was a good idea!

PPE is a good excuse, except in this case it stands for Priti Patel's Eyebrows.

She'll claim she was doing PPE in Oxford.

I've never known a UK government display such brutal avarice and profligacy whilst cutting the pay of key workers. And this is meant to be the party of business, 'f business' just have what you want and don't forget your friends (or your enemies). She might benefit from having a look at that clippers link.
