I have waited months for this thing to be delivered and put it up over the weekend.

All seemed to be going well even though it took a while as I did it alone. However, I simply can't get the damn doors level.

The base is flags and the spirit level says spot on so I'm guessing some uneven stress in the panels somehow. Question is - will bolting it to the floor help with levelling the doors?

Giving it a shove at each corner and there's some movement in the whole thing and the doors go up and down. I've used some of the provided shims to get one corner firmed up, which levels the left hand door perfectly but whereever I put more shims seems to tip the balance again. This process is not helped by being flush on one side to the house!

So is bolting down likely to help or cause me more issues?

It was all going so well....

Shouldn't need to bolt the shed down to get the doors level IME.

Photo's would help but I suspect that the sides aren't plumb and therefore the door opening isn't square, this will result in your doors being at different heights. Open the doors and accurately measure the aperture corner to corner, this is a more accurate way of checking than using a level. This will tell you if the opening is out of square/not plumb.

If the base is level and assuming your spirit level is true, then the sides of the shed are probably out of plumb and might need pushing over to square things up. Can you place shims between the house & shed?

Additionally, have you put your bikes and stuff in the shed yet? Once your shed is full of gear it might change how it is presently sitting.

Nothing in it at the moment. might try a block of wood between it and the house as you suggest. Bit frustrating as I expected these things to be solid as.
