Anyone got any ideas for a mates 50th present. He's into downhill and mountain bikes and sometimes ventures into road but very grudgingly. Moto GP Motocross Motorsports etc. A little bit like the boy who never grew up. 4 kids and a management job so pretty time poor! I'm struggling for ideas so I thought I'd ask the hive mind
Thanks in advance

Pipe, slippers & cardigan? Or an Ebike.

He's pretty keen on ebikes! I'm even considering unfriending him because of it. But budget is about 100 quid or less so ebikes are out of budget

If he doesn't already have a MX bike and is riding on a regular basis how about a MX try out day. I went on the one linked below as a 50th birthday present. Only problem is it reignited my love of racing MX, 9yrs later and two completely knackered shoulders I'm not sure it was such a good idea 😉

Whisky? Who doesn't like whisky. (If the answer is "your mate" I'll dispose of it for you.)

A skills day with Jedi is a great shout if he can take a day out. Failing that then it's just the usual Whisky/spirits really for sub £100. Or maybe a bike service if he's crap at doing it himself (tad boring though :p ).

This book could be a winner, it's excellent and covers the birth of MTB as a competitive and identifiable branch of cycling...
