Thought it was a firefox error though.

Same here, same username since 2003, wish now I'd changed it after The Great Hack, but too late now.
Haven't noticed any more 500's...
Apologies for last night's 500s. I was swapping servers and DNS over the weekend. I thought I had got away with no one noticing but a new server obviously needed a bit more configuring, which has since been done. We are now fully upgraded. You should not get any 500 errors unless you're doing something extreme, but if you do please feel free to report them.
