Got an iphone 5 which I understood couldn't get 4G, only 5C and 5S can. However I'm out and about and my phone is now showing 4G in the status bar and I'm getting around 20mb upload and download speeds.
Anyone know what's going on here..?

iPhone 5 can get 4G but IIRC only EE use the frequency that it uses.
Iphone 5 can get 4G. Simple. (only on EE as far as I am aware)
Am on Three. Now lost the 4g though.

Just read on the "3 forum" that both EE and 3 have the correct spectrum for 4G on the iPhone 5.

Yep I was getting 4G on my iPhone 5 via 3 in certain areas near me.
Works on O2 in some areas too.
