I've just seen an advert from the electoral commission regarding an election on 2nd May...have I missed something...?

Local Elections are due to be held on the 2nd may, not to be confused with a General Election

2nd of May would be the sensible time do a GE, combine it with the locals so you only have one campaign, save both the parties and the country a small fortune.

Sadly I think he's going to hang on for as long as possible though in the hope that Starmer or the rest of the Labour party put their foot in it.

Also, being by far the wealthiest party with the richest donors, having to run 2 campaigns in quick succession isn't nearly as tough for them.as it is for the others who rely much more on members and volunteers.
