I am The Pink Panther, have just caught up 257 places.

Its the second time this leg that has happened ... last time was 88k places ...but that was very early on so all were much closer.

Oh well, its just a game.

Gee-Jay... That does appear to be the case. Unintentional bit of drafting on my part by the looks of it

Infact I may just "flush the head" get rid of all that unwanted weight .... so sorry if your boat gets a bit mucky 😆

I seem to be steadily falling backwards through the fleet - lost about 20k places over the last 24 hours, now every decision I make seems to lose me more.

I'm called - the bow is the pointy end

I think the autopilot thingy is working OK now (or at least it has for me this leg).
Got up to 800th place last night before heading right at 10pm, losing places all the way but hopefully will be OK in a day ot two.

Well my tack over to the right cost nearly 11,000 places but Shark-Bait is now heading north again in 32 knts with the jib up!
Wind angles pretty good so time will tell.
Anybody else using VRTool? I've found it helps a lot.

Buggerit, why am I so slow? I was doing fairly well but I'm playing catchup all the time. Was fairly sure I knew enough about sailing to get by fairly well on this one!

I'm gaining places at about 100 every 10 minutes, but the rest of you seem to be flying ahead.

sharkbait - I know! I did only start at the rear of the field about the time you finished!

Cheers, I can download and install VRTool, just dont get any wind, boat or anything else data due to the 403 error 🙁
