It's been a long day, out on the van, no proper meal.

quick eat before bed, choices are:-

Tin of mackeral in tomato sauce.

Tin of Heinz baked beans and mini pork sausages.

Marmite on toast.

M&S chilli and sesame noodle box.

A whole tin of corned beef (340g)

Or have 4th beer of the night, Vocation Love&Hate and eat in the morning?

Cereal with beer was a favourite of a mate back in scooter rally days of the late 80's.

Just realised no white bread, so toast and sandwhich are out.

Tinned food or tinned beer it is.

Mackerel on toast for me. A fairly regular lunch round here

Chilli, or the beans and sausages, would be my pick.

Surely you meant to quote mackerel?

Take the beans and sausage and break up some of the corned beef into it

.

For me a whole tin of condensed milk. 2 holes and suck it out one of them. Delicious.

Those that are lactose intolerant are probably clenching their bums right now.

Out of that list -  M&S chilli and sesame noodle box.

The only thing that I’d eat, none of the others would even get into the kitchen.

For me otherwise, whatever I’ve got available, could be a microwave curry or Chinese meal with a packet of rice, some tasty cheese on crusty bread with butter, maybe some olives and a can of soup, perhaps a chiabata with tuna mixed with mayo, vinegar, sliced olives, red onion, sliced mushrooms, red peppers, a nice sharp cheddar grated and mixed in, with black pepper and chili flakes, which I made up earlier and a large bowl is now in the fridge with clingfilm over for future consumption. Maybe cheese on toast… whatever’s to hand.
At that time of night, there’s just as much chance of my driving along to the kebab van and getting a nice medium doner.

Baked beans and sausages on marmite on toast, with cheese on top if you have some. Bacon too.

It ended up being the beans and sausages straight out of the tin, with a beer.

@CountZero that concoction sounds good!
