Down 1.5kg for me this week. Been a good week diet wise so pleased I've started well. Out Saturday night so will have alcohol calories but hopefully can back to it Sunday.

Down 3kg first week wich was anomaly probably due to water weight on initial weighing (huge Chinese takeaway the night before!)
Down 2kg this week.
Fasted cardio, 16/8. Not eating any crap or drinking any booze. Plenty of protein, walking, and a bit of running/riding also.

I've dropped a fair bit of weight using these methods in the past so I know they are effective if applied consistently.

V. happy with progress so far. Just got to keep it going.

Not a good start so far. Managed to register a 1KG loss at the start of the week but evenings out etc the last few days have pushed it back up again. Trying a simple calorie deficit approach (2500 KCAL a day based on estimated energy expenditure minus 20%).

Down 1.8kg this week and 4kg since Christmas. I'm trying fasting twice a week and have been impressed so far. I'm currently on 41hrs without food and feel better than I've felt for a long time!! Going to stick with 2x24hr fasts per week but. I've been eating about 2k calories a day but if you add in my fasted days my average drops to 1200. I would never be able to reduce my calorie intake on a daily basis so the fasting is going to suit me well! I let you know if I keel over!!

Only down 600g for me but I had managed to put on 1.4kg over the weekend.

Only down 0.6kg in the first week, but I've polished off the last of the Christmas cheese & mince pies, so at least I won't have that to tempt me.

83.6 😒
Going up after an initial drop

Hoping it's a blip.

I can't update the sheet from my phone so will try the laptop over the weekend

84.5kg

I'm taking that as a little win.
Only 0.2 down, but I've upped the exercise by running a few times and done a couple of bike comutes and feeling better.
Next step, sorting out the refueling.

Looked at mine and I'd put on 2KG, which I know is not true.
Realised I'd put the starting weight in wrong, so now reflects the true loss of 100g.

Might require more dedication !

Meh. I was lighter yesterday. Still down is down and 0.5kg loss is ok. Muscle is up as well.

More importantly I’m feeling fitter and healthier. The 1/2 marathon training coupled with weight loss means I can play football with the boy or take the dogs on a nice long walk and not be even remotely tired. Plus I’ve been much more successful at keeping the weight off with a slowly slowly approach.

Still. I’d have preferred yesterdays weight 😀

2lb down this week, 5lb overall. I was another 1lb lower yesterday but that was after exercise and I suspected more dehydration so not surprised to see it up a bit today, but still happy with the progress. Going pretty well considering last weekend wasn’t great due to a 12 hour round trip to a family do which involved service station food and christening buffet, which I was only able to partially moderate myself with!

85kg for me so no change this week. Though i've had two nights catching up with friends so dinner and a few pints, plus a mid week takeaway so i'm taking that as a win

A few calorific mis steps this week for me and it shows. Up a bit compared to last week, I hope I'm really level pegging and it's just daily fluctuation.

1) Too much eating after long gravel ride in Sunday

2) unplanned kebab on Tuesday (not my fault!!!!)

3) A few beers and post-ride snacks on Wednesday.

Got to navigate a trip away to see friends this weekend.

Very keen to get back on track next week

I expect I'll be down on week one but not expecting great things in comparison with last week's unofficial weigh in.

Weekend away followed by working away this week have seen diet and exercise suffer a lot.
Still there's plenty of time between now and weigh in at 22:00 for me to work off a week of excess

78.3 this morning compared to 78.1 last Friday.

I’m weighing daily and average weight so far this week is still down on last weeks.

Went for a run this morning pre breakfast and came back 77.5kg but that’s cheating 😅

Another 1kg down for me which keeps me on track. Wife's birthday today so this weekend is going to involve eating out and drinking so I expected next week to be stagnant. Overall still on track though.

Down 1.8kg.

OK, I was 2kg down last Monday after a stomach bug, but I've tried real hard to get properly rehydrated whilst limiting bad food choices, so let's see if the kick-start is maintainable

Down 2kg in 2 weeks, happy with that so far. Consistency is really key. I see a lot of comments with excuses up above! It's only two weeks in, if people really do want to make a difference you can't be going off the rails so quickly, but each to their own I guess.

I guess the thing with going off the rails is recognising you're doing it, so long as it's a wobble, you see it and catch it it's not the end of the world.

It's allowing it to become the norm that's the problem.

E.g. I know I had a chunk of lousy days in the last seven. The weekend away was nice and frankly I'm not going to completely give up on the occasional blow out/treat.
The working away sucks as I'm stuck with eating badly and no exercise.
Otoh, so long as I know it was rubbish I can redouble my efforts at exercise for the following few days and keep to a much reduced intake to offset it so over this week and next I'll end up about right on kcal and exercise.
Ying and yang isn't it?

Bounced back up to 200g above my starting weight! Hadn't been a good week though, lots of late finishes at work have meant poor food choices and I've had no chance to do any workout until last night. The good thing is though that if I hit it hard this week that new weight should fall off in a few days, usually does anyway.

A three day sales meeting overseas has sent me in completely the wrong direction. Gone backwards which was entirely predictable but highly enjoyable! Not travelling again for a while so more in control of what I eat and drink.

I'm doing well this year, ahead of target and doing a lot of exercise, if I'm still able to say that come June I'll be happy.

I've been a bit evil and added some conditional formatting to the spreadsheet, if you're ahead of target each week you're green, behind target you're red. There's quite a bit of red.....

Got a Chinese on the way so glad the way in was this morning.

Well that was a pleasant surprise. 1kg down from last week and as is have been reasonably happy with no change at all given the week I've had.

Can't see me keeping this up though as I'm now starting to struggle with the exercise and calorie restriction so going to have to start putting more in sooner not later. If also planed to be back at the gym this week but didn't manage it for one reason and another but that will start to push the weight up a bit once I do too.

Still the target was/is supposed to be a stretch and I didn't expect the last few kg to be easy as I've only ever hit that once for a few months as a grown up.

That's a good point, might change it so the week is green if you hit your weekly loss target, we need all the motivation we can get.

Pretty much stayed the same this week. Did quite a tough training week last week and felt hungry which resulted in snacking on a bit much crap!

If I wasn't doing this I would probably have ignored my weigh in an slipped for a few weeks!

Right, made the formatting a little less nasty, green you've hit your weekly weight reduction target that week, orange you've lost weight but not your target amount, red you're getting fatter.

That’s more like it. A solid 0.8kg down. 1/2 marathon training going well, tops now hanging off as opposed to bulging off and I have much more energy. Not really eating less but eating more sensibly however with the training there’s been a big uptick in calories burned…

Down 0.5kg after the hitting a plateau last week. Was a bit deflating last week see see my progress as red even though i'd stayed the same weight so i'm looking forward to seeing a green on the board when i plug in my figures.

...Nooo!! i'm only getting amber, Damn you!!

Would someone be kind enough to update mine? Not near a computer today and can't update it from my phone.

96.6

Waiting to see if that gives me a green box, or an orange one!

How do you go from orange to green? Do I just have to improve on last week or do I need to pull back the failings from all previous weeks?

Cheers

87.6kg.

Disastrous week, work and family crises have meant practically no exercise and shite food choices. Some might be rebound from last week's stomach bug

At least I'm more aware this time around.

Looks like yours has been updated, it's orange! Not sure if it means the former or latter though.

I'm down another kg this week. After 4 straight days of the same weight, this morning I'd dropped again which was a relief because I've been pretty on it again this week from a diet perspective. Glad to know it's still working.

I hadn't ridden at all in January until last Saturday due to illness so it was very nice to put on my riding gear again and feel it a lot looser.

Basically just maintained this week after 2 solid weeks. I had expected to have lost something as had a decent week food wise, still on dry Jan and had a very good week exercise wise.

The positive is that I went for a ride yesterday and clothes felt looser and I felt really good on the bike. So going in the right direction. Hopefully see some weight come off this coming week.

Not expecting good numbers this week. Monday didn't start well with a planned workout kicked to the curb for a meeting. Came down with something on Tuesday and have basically not left the sofa and survived on sugar for the last three days.

Managed to drop 1.5kgs this week after gaining .5kg last week, back in the green. Uber Pretzel route on Zwift yesterday certainly helped (140kms, 2300mtrs climbing, 3,600 calories, sore hoop 🙂 )

5 days eating tapas & drinking a little in Barcelona last week has taken its toll on my progress, I'm still a bit down on the start of the week though so that's something.

Colour coding is for that week only, I originally did it based on progress from the start of January but it was a bit depressing. If you have hit your weekly weight loss goal it'll go green, if you've lost weight but not hit the weekly target it'll be orange, if you've gone backwards.

E.g. Weekly target weight loss 0.5Kg

last week 96.0, this week 95.4 - Green
last week 96.0, this week 95.8 - orange
last week 96.0, this week 105.0 - red.

Hmm, orange for me this week after 3 greens, still losing weight but it's getting harder, really need to knuckle down on anything not main meals.

I've been on a plateau for two weeks now, despite regular exercise and hitting calorie targets. I've got faith in the process but it'd be nice to see the scale moving again.

1.3kg this week
Plus 1.3kg
I'd expected a poor score but that's a lot worse than I hoped.

up a tiny but from last week but what's 0.5kg among friends!

Saw a really interesting interview about nutrition. Worth consideration as I have to admit, I am really active and seem to have hit a plateau for the last few years at 82-83kg.

Exactly the same as last week!

However I did make the classic error of doing the weigh in before my visit to the smallest room in the house. So I may still have lost a bit in reality.

A tiny loss this week but I'm frankly amazed at that as I started a new job Monday and had the first two nights in a hotel. Drinks with new colleagues and buffet breakfasts really hot me hard.

Need to go all out if I'm going to be on target for next week's progress target.

0.1kg loss between the last two fridays but luckily daily weigh ins show I just got unlucky with the spikes and troughs that happen over time. Trend line still going down in a satisfying way and still already ahead of the 5 week target so happy with that.

0.5kg down this week* which is great to see. I've been upping the miles running in the last week or two so think it's beginning to pay off.
I'm also thinking my weight loss would be a darn sight more but i'm currently turning my fat stores into muscle so this is counteracting those potential big numbers....but my belly disagrees!

I am seeing the Chub Club as becoming more of a habit forming/breaking tool as now i'm thinking twice before choosing to get a snack of an evening and not having a bread roll with soup for lunch, and do i really need that evening beer?

I'm still allowing myself an occasional treat/beer etc but it's a conscious decision and i know it may effect my progress and Friday weigh in results.

+0.5kg again this week.

1kg up compared to last Friday. Average is only 0.4kg higher this week compared to last though but i've had a bad cold all week so no riding and only averaging about 2,000 steps a day... Pretty sure i'll be back on track and continuing the downward trend from next week and beyond.

Until lurgy strikes again... (thanks to child bringing back various flavours of lurgy from nursery every other day).

Up a bit then down a bit missed the 5 week target by 1KG but not disheartened. Next week has me away for three days of hotel breakfasts, and little chance for lunch so the fasting thing is going to be hard.

Fingers crossed for next friday.

+1.

Another 3lb down this week. Feeling good. Only 600g shy of 5 week target and that’s with it being a pretty ambitious aim of 10kg loss overall so really happy with that.

Down 1kg this week. This is the first time Chub Club has worked for me (although not there yet!). Fasting still seems to work for me. If anyone’s struggling to shed weight I would absolutely recommend it. It’s actually easier than it sounds but if I struggle I just g he ave some tuna & oatcakes which is around 300 calories. In general I am a gannet but fasting and using MyFitnessPal to count calories has really helped suppress my appetite!!

Back green this week and way below the five week target.

I've put some conditional formatting on the 5 week target column as well. Should be self explanatory.

Only 0.3kg this week but to be honest I thought I’d be level at best. Easy training week this week and let myself enjoy a bit of food. Most importantly I am feeling really good and my running has improved no end so I’ll take quite happily.

Down another 0.3kg for me which isn’t much in itself but my weight has not been up and down the way it often is.

started with the fasting as per the video I posted and it feels good. Eat last meal and then no snacking in the evening, I try and push my breakfast back until 7.45 instead of 7ish. This means I normally get 12-13 hours when previously I would be getting stuck into biscuits or chocolate with a cuppa between 8 and 9.
