You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Back up again for me this week.
Have signed on for DrPs' Zwift 12 week booster programme, which starts Monday.
Not going to up food intake at all, so the weight should go the right way soon.
I wasn’t shifting anything but then my wife asked me about the nuts I was taking to snack on at work & was I eating them in one go ? I was, but it turns out there was about 400 cals in that little tub - stopped talking them this week and lost 2lb near enough!
The good news is I'm back below my starting weight, but still 2.5kg above where I'd hoped to be.....
lost 0.7kg this week which is pretty remarkable given the amount of Guinness I drunk at Murrayfield last Saturday
So far off the pace at the moment. I tend to have a food meltdown on a Thursday and undo all th good work of the week.
Ground to a halt again, but considering the crap i ate (& drank if i'm honest)last weekend it's not a bad result to be honest.
Stalled as well, but I’d hit the five week target early so have taken my foot off the gas. Back on it now for phase 2.
A bit of weight gain last week but managed to undo that this week, hopefully getting back into Zwift again will help keep me on target.
100g above the mid target weight, I'll take that. Probably would have been bang on if I'd been able to complete the Zwift training last night (technical issues) as I had eaten a bit more during the day to fuel for it and obviously didn't burn it off!
Just got to keep the progress up to the end now!
120.2Kg for me yesterday.
Back on the turbo and feeling better.
Got under 13st (my target weight), this week from 15st this time last year - under 12st 12lbs to be more accurate. 9lbs of that have been in the past 3-4 weeks, cutting down the booze
My progress has slowed slightly but I'm blaming DrP's Zwift plan as I'm definitely losing fat but getting fitter so the muscle increase must be reason! Although I have just polished off 10 pancakes so that could be an excuse for Friday 😁
So - just updated my weight and finished the quarter on 102.3 so off target but steady progress nonetheless. Also was 101.5 this morning meaning I am under 16st in old money for the first time in many years. I think I can crack the sub 15st mark at least over the coming months - just eating sensibly and moving a bit more 🙂
Are we going to continue this one? Happy to set up the next spreadsheet if we are...
I dipped under 94kg on Friday. For the first time in a while. Not the weight loss I was hoping for, lost 6kg having set a target of 15…)
My undoing was a week in Spain at the end of feb. I was close to 93kg when I left but 95 when I came back and I’ve yo-up’s around 94.5 for the last 6 weeks. Motivation is hard to get back when it goes.
I think I might do another alcohol free fortnight to see if I can get started again. It dies make a big difference doing without the beer.
Thumbs up from me dannybgoode if you don't mind? - i've been a bit hit and miss to be honest and am going away for a week at Easter, so this may well be a big help when i get back!
I've been a bit flaky tbh for a multitude of reasons so I for one would be up for it.
+1 to wanting to carry on- dropped off badly so need to get my arse(s) in gear. Have even had to buy new fat shirts to fit my gut. Was at the local BHF shop so wa for charity!
I'm in for more - gotta break the plateau
Count me in. I like documenting my complete inability to lose weight!
I've completely fallen off the wagon so extra time and motivation will be great! The combination of a new job with a long commute (plan to move closer soon) and my smart trainer breaking means I'm slowly gaining everything I lost.
Coolio- will sort today 🙂
In celebration of this last night I went to the local bbq place and had southern fried chicken tenders to start, a double cheeseburger and chips for main and polished off churros for pud. I'm on holiday all next week so this is perfect timing!
I'm back down to my starting weight. 🤪
Pretty sure that wasn't the intention.
I've just added my weight to the next column - same as the last two weeks unfortunately 🤦♂️
I actually lost some weight this week!
Yes please DBG !
I've been completely useless this last 3 months so I'm in desperate need of a kick up the Aresnal.
Thanks very much !

Right - spreadsheet updated to take us through to end of week 26 or half way through the year and I've inserted a column to update your target weight if so desired :). I'm going for another 6kg-ish which would take me to below 15st for the first time in many many years (I like mixing weight targets - means there is always one to hit 🙂 ).
Decided slower weight loss works better for me. In the past I've targeted 15kg drops over a few months but then I get into a bounce and get de-motivated. Now, by taking it slower I have lost 14kg since Jan '21 and if I can make that 20kg by end of June that would be super.
EDIT - it is never too late to join so if you want to add your name etc to the spreadsheet then feel free 🙂
A week in Italy certainly hasn't helped my cause ! - I think i'm pretty much back to where i was in January (the food and wines were amazing though so not feeling too bad about it 😉).
Need to update the sheet for the last couple of weeks but I'm continuing on the slow and steady route. Still hopeful I can hit 95kg by the target date and if I do that'll be 20kg in 18 months so would be delighted with that.
Once the kitchen is finished and the house back together I will have a bit on mental energy to consider getting more active also 🙂
