First ones spotted in Standish Woods, Glos. today, but no pictures I'm afraid as just a quick blast in the woods.
🌾
We've got some in our back garden but i suspect they're not natural UK bluebells.
I think they may be Spanish imports or something.
This wood however is just dying to come into bloom.

Went for a walk just now in our local woods, diddly squat at the moment.
Ours are very close, expect them all out next weekend.
I think they’re still 2 weeks away here... looking forward to seeing them for sure
There’s shitloads in my garden, which is a surprise seeing as I dug out the only clump last year, and I’m pretty certain they’re Spanish ones. On the other side are some I know are native, because I planted them, and one already has a decent size flower stem, with others showing in the leaf base. I’ve got several clumps of primroses in flower, several recently given to me, one was hidden under a laurel shrub, I’ve got several violet plants I’ve just been given in flower, and, literally, dozens of cowslips which have self seeded and spread from one small flower that suddenly appeared on the edge of the lawn several years ago. Hopefully, once I can be certain one side is all Spanish bluebells and hoik them all out, I can get some more native ones and get a nice spread right across the top part of my garden, such as it is. I’ve got a couple of honeysuckle plants to train up my fence, and a couple of ivy, a small hawthorn to fill a space left by an ugly elder, and some holly, a bunch of ferns as well, and I’m gradually turning a small area into a native Cotswold woodland, and hopefully I might get some foxgloves from seed I spread across it.
I’ll be getting over to Westwoods near Marlborough in a few weeks to see how the bluebells are doing over there.
Northfacing shady garden in South Wales here. I was given a few native plants four years ago and they are starting to really establish themselves. Loads of buds, almost ready to burst. Can't wait 🙂

Some here in the garden of the flats opposite. Not seen many in the wild yet...
Loads on the side of the road and in gardens down here in Cornwall but the woods haven't yet come out. So close though!
Spotted under the gas meter in front of the house (gets plenty of sun)
Loads in the usual spot at Farley Mount. Went out there on the 901 just to check progress.
Anyone been out to Westwoods Wiltshire over the last day or two, looking to head out that way this bank holiday weekend?
South facing wood at 200m A.S.L. in N. Yorks - went to check last night and there's a few poking their heads out but the usual blanket coverage isn't there yet. In fact there's more snowdrops in the wood than bluebells.
Shedloads out in Leeds!

Not so far, the weather hasn’t been too kind, but with things perking up for the weekend I might try to get over there. I’ve dug up all of the bluebells in my garden I thought might be Spanish interlopers, which they proved to be as soon as the flowers showed, but the native ones I planted are looking good, although still few in number; hopefully they’ll spread like the Spanish ones did, and the cowslips have, what started as one lonely flower has now produced dozens all over the garden, mostly both sides and along the centre of the path, a couple of patches in the cultivated bits, and they’re popping up in increasing numbers all over the lawn! Along with the primroses, some violets a friend gave me, the increasing numbers of snowdrops, and the ferns I ‘acquired’ from foraging around in the woods around Castle Combe, over the next year or two the small patch of dirt along the bottom of my garden should turn into a sort of Cotswold woodland area.
No shortage in north Hampshire at the moment!

I know its a bluebells thread, but, the garlics looking pungently perfect round our way too!

The thread title made me feel very young at heart for some reason..
Here in Cornwall the shoots have been out for ages but still only about 1/10 have started flowering. (based on data from one wood visited multiple times over the past few weeks. Late payments may cause serious drinking problems. Your statutory rights are not affected.)

Always enjoy this annual thread and seeing your pics. Decided I would visit two woods today but once I approached Micheldever Wood and saw loads of parked cars on the road, groaned and headed to my secret wood instead. It's been an annual pilgrimage for around 20 years and did not disappoint. Found a log in a superb spot, cracked open the flask and just sat there mesmerised by the sea of bluebells and their beautiful aroma.
I love bluebells!
They're out in full swing in our local woods, really love this time of year and seeing all the purple!
A bit slow on The Malverns this year but getting there:
How do you go about sharing from Instagram??
Basically if you look at a particular instagram post on a web page or your device you need to copy the link as far as....*
but remove the stars and you don't need to click any options link html or pic etc. Don't bother trying to 'preview' it either as until you hit the Submit button you won't be able to see it. I spent ages trying to preview it before just taking the plunge and hoping.
Local woods.
