That's five easy points Sexton has given away. Gah. 🙁

Sexton living up to his bottler reputation

His place kicking has been poor this year piggie. I'd never heard he was a bottler to be fair.

Wtf is up with Sexton's kicking? He's making Laidlaw's efforts look reasonable!

One point in it at half time. I'll take that. At least it's in our hands.

Exciting to watch. Like the way POC takes the ball at pace on the short ball. Too often the big guys take it too slowly.

Steve Walsh will determine this with his interpretation of the scrum (and a yellow card?).

Some good momentum shifts to keep everyone on their toes!

Loving Brian Moore clearly being as much of a fan of Wlash as the rest of us seem to be 😆

To be fair, the French try wasn't a try. Bloody Walsh again. "Oh look, they could ground the ball against the post". So he wants to award the try because it's a bit unusual and he likes to show that he knows the rules.

On balance Ireland deserved to win, France were just too imprecise.

I imagine Jonny Sexton will wake up with a bit of headache after that.

BOD epitome of a true sportsman!
Will be missed.
That French penalty effort was just dire!
Loved the whole tournament.
Here's to England's second row being the best in the world!

Adieu Brian O'Driscoll.

What a fitting send-off for such a hero. (Not his best game to be fair, but he made the decision to come back in for that try so good on him.)

Congrats to Ireland, winning in France is a huge achievement for anyone. However, in terms of the 6 nations, its grand slam or bust.

Tweet that to the hotel in Rome. It might make them feel better. If they're not all tucked up in bed. 😀

I was physically ill watching that game, 2 point leads when you can't keep possession are horrible. I was so happy when I remembered Madigan was the reserve fly half and not Jackson, the though of Bastareaud running at Jackson had me terrified.

Hangover subsiding, that for me was one of the best 6N's ever.I think the fact that it was close run to the end made it so good. The final day showed that with three teams in the running for the championship.
My fave game was Italy-Scotland I have never enjoyed a game where I was non partisan so much, both sides really produced good rugby.
Ireland fully deserved the win. I feel sorry for the French as they were hated in their own country despite staying in the race till the end.
I personally think England are not as great as the press think they are (nice to see Lancaster staying humble), but I have hopes that we will continue to improve.
