The English backs basic skills are shocking, the pack must hate the ball being given to them.

Short debut for Samson Lee 😆 quite an achievement to get a yellow card after being on the pitch for such a short time!

Samson Lee is great he's like the bastard love child of Oliver hardy and Ram Man.

Scott Williams played very well as did, Tipuric. The refs interpretation of the break down was the polar opposite of the fellow Irish ref Rolland last week.... todays ref gave rise to a much more oepn game

Pah. Thanks tom youngs. Thanks a lot. Went from about 100% line out success to about 40%. Great game but so disappointing to come unstuck because your national hooker can't throw a ****ing line out.

I was just thinking that Aus were being like England with front row forwards clogging up the backs and then Moore does that!!!! Good score that.

That Aussie kicker has a certain "style" when he's preparing to kick? Looks like he's trying to crimp off a length!

Could be a good game this one.

Good to see Kearney and Bowe looking strong.

Yes Coopers kicking style is v odd.

It feels like watching as Baa Baa's match!!!

Tbf, three green machine defenders managed to let him give them the slip. Soft. Very soft.

Ooooh...I've got a bad feeling about this one.

Just got a txt from my mate at Kingsholm Sinbad just git a bad injury.

I was in a minority of one in a pub watching england game, went pear shaped when Flood came on, also thought that the england backs ran out of gas.

Good job in Cardiff.

Sounded like a good game at Twickenham, we did well to come back after giving them such a start (soft first try ?). Reading the report on line made me smile about the NZers getting pinged at the breakdown, thats one for the scrap book. Hopefully be able to find a YouTube replay later. Carter needs his 6 month rest by the sound of it, hasn't done McGraw any harm. Congratulations to NZ for the unbeaten season.

Haven't seen any of the welsh match, so can't comment I that but I though that England at least looked up for the fight this week! Farrell although aggressive, a good physical presence and a good place kicker simply isn't the right man to get a back line moving. He's an inside centre pure and simple. Not quite sure who the answer is (Butns maybe, Flood would be better than Farrell for playmaking)
I sincerely hope that's the last we see of Ashton for a while, that mans completely rubbish and it's time to find a decent winger to play on the other wing as well. Put back tuillagi and I think there's the making of something in that team.

Fair ply to NZ to absorb that much pressure and come out on top as well. There's simply no weak links in that team at all.

And if the Australian scrum can put this much pressure on ours, we're in all kinds of shit in the 6N. 😐

That was classic All Blacks. 'We're bored of losing, let's get some trys'. Positive points for England though. Was a very entertaining game.

Ashton needs to go now. He is shit.

😀

Two scores will win it, plenty of time left. Come on Ireland.
Why is Ross getting had over? Sheesh.

'We're bored of losing, let's get some trys

It was more like "England line out? BRILLIANT"
Can't take it away from them, they did what you'd expect a top team to do with set piece dominance.

I expect because it can be quite easily done? you could see him try to put him down, when you have lost control of the tackle its hard to get it back. Shit happens

At least O'Mahony came out of it ok.

Shit happens

Thankfully it didn't in this case. When you've lost control of the tackle, you deservedly get an early bath.

He was a secondary. Had no need to enter the tackle at all, and certainly no need to lift the players leg above his head, it was clear at the outset that he'd not be able to put him down. A completely brainless thing to do.

it was a red, true no argument, but I'm just saying it was accidental IMO

Woody's summing up was as accurate as you could expect. Just awful performance from Ireland. Red card put a dampener on a thoroughly deserved victory for the crims.

Think I'll make other plans for next weekend's game. 😆

Not sure I agree. I think there was intent there but it's just a matter of opinion. If he'd done it twenty minutes earlier, they'd still have won anyway.

Imagine someone did a stupid tackle like that in a world cup semi... 🙂

there were two reds in the France v Tonga match, quite a few punches thrown.

It has nothing to do with that a-a. I'm happily discussing the incident in isolation. You can (and will like you do) make of it what you want. It was a tip tackle, a deserved red. Even the TMO and touch judge agreed. No other incident has a bearing on my opinion of it.

Ok sorry, although I think you will see I agree with you it was red just dont think it was intentional.

I reckon had it been early on he may have got a yellow.... And then I'd be tamping and cursing Rollands name... Again!

a_a making friends and influencing people. 😉

Glad he wont be in Cardiff next week. You can see Folau's AFL roots he takes high balls like he is playing for Hawthorn or someone, amazing to see that technique on a rugby pitch.

Week after, its Tonga next week.
It was Kudrani who got red not Folou wasnt it. Folou is an awesome player..
Spent the game feeling a bit sorry for BOD. A true great who looks to have stayed on too long, then he pops up to set up a try at the end, shame it was disallowed. He's still got the class but his body doesnt seem to have it anymore.

Tbf, I wasn't aware that the refs could go to TMO for that kind of thing. Ref's decision alone would probably have been a yellow but with the TMO reviewing it...well, we'll never know. O'Mahony possibly deserved a yellow for the sweary over-reaction and I think it was his reaction which made the ref go to TMO. Like I said, it tarnished the game for me. No problem with the result - well beaten on the day and there really was no need.

Having said the above about O'Mahony, I have no idea how it feels to be upside down and wondering if my career is about to be finished so I assume that's why the ref let the afters and the sweariness go.

Ok I just want to say I dont like Wales playing in all red makes them look like scousers (shudder) where have the white shorts gone?

Yes it was a_a I should of put Folau on a new line. Glad Kudrani wont be in Cardiff.

Number 7 who scored first Australian try is straight from the 118 118 advert 😆

Yeah, Cummins I think. He looked a threat all day - but even Ashton would have been a threat to the green machine defence today. 🙂

EDIT: if he'd had the service of course.
