I'm looking to upgrade my bike. It will be used for commuting mainly - through Vienna and then out to the Autobahn, then windy country roads - about 70km each way.
Has anybody got one? Any problems I should be aware of? What's it like in a city?

Cracking bike, bulletproof engine with loads of torque.
HOWEVER unless you fancy looking like the Hulk you really need to consider the wind blast.
ER6-F might be a better prospect or the SX-1000 both of which are faired.
The SX is designed for what you want and is the same bike as the Z and comes with panniers, screen, etc.
On that site - I'd consider the F800 or the Sprint ST too.
