Congrats my friend! Just goes to show the old adage is true, "time flies when you are having fun". it's already over 12 years for Mrs NBT and me, and it only feels like a couple of months ago!

Our 20th passed like any other day, we both remembered about 3 days later, no big deal.

Well done WCA, good to hear you are still happy.
Me and the missus will be 23 next april, our eldest will be 23 next sept We had only known each other 3 months, felt a big decision at the time but wouldn't change it for the world. Might swap the wife for a carbon White though

29 years for us in September. Figure I'd better stick with her as I don't think anyone else would put up with me

I remember readily that I've been with mine for nearly 19 years but often struggle to remember that we have been married for 8.

20 years married in December

24 years together in November

Daughter turns 15 in August

Had a bloody good go at ballsing things up along the way, but bless her, she's stuck with me!

Had a cheapskate wedding with not much to remember, so (I'm) thinking of renewing our vows with something a bit nicer to celebrate our 20th

Crikey...20 years for me too in a few months! Is this the generation that were at teens and early 20's when MTB first came big in the early 90's and then got houses and jobs in the mid 90's. Certainly a cluster of 20 year marriages on here!

Does that make us the 'Mint Sauce' generation, when MBUK was practically the only way to hear about mountain bikes and purple anodised accessories were king. Elastomer was a revolutionary concept. Fluorescent bright clothing was cool. Onza bar ends were a must. There was Suntour, Ned Overend & Missy Giove. Suspension was only for the top racers and well paid (still is IMO).
Happy days.

So happy birthday Lucy.

In the 90's it was full rigid, 20 years later 5" of plush damping. Same with my bikes.

Celebrated 33 years as the Soks partnership in March, this year. Mrs Soks reckons I'm, almost, house trained.

With us- you'd think we were fiery Italians, hungover with pepper powder rubbed on our sensitive parts.

The adverts are clearly targetted at this thread.

Sensible shoes for women and nappies for men

[img] [/img]

{EDIT] Just thought - that might just relate to my personal browsing habits :-0

talking of browsing habits (popping OT for a mo), my Computer Guy came to check my computer and up popped an ad on Russian brides! 😳 Seriously, I have never checked out Russian Brides in my life.....everything else but! 😯

Needless to say he smirked at my protestations! 😥

Reminds me of the Tory MP who wrote a mocking article about the Labour Party website having adverts for call girls or rent boys on it.

He felt very smug until someone pointed out how the adverts that appeared were chosen
