Well the title kind of says it.
Busy sorting out a surprise (well, to me anyway) party and getting a pressie
Woot! Woot!
20 years* and still really happy
*well 356 but 9 days is too short for her to divorce me now I think
😯 20 years!
I hit that one in July 😆
First time I have a chance of beating you!!!!
txt you
Amazed you've lived that long, well done.
Congrats my friend! Just goes to show the old adage is true, "time flies when you are having fun". it's already over 12 years for Mrs NBT and me, and it only feels like a couple of months ago!
It will be 20 years in August for us.
Was it an accident for you? 😉
Our 20th passed like any other day, we both remembered about 3 days later, no big deal.
not bad....
sometimes have to pinch myself when i remember that the GF and I have been together for almost 14 years!
Just realised we will have been together for 33 years this August!
Same age as I was when we got married.
Well done WCA, good to hear you are still happy.
Me and the missus will be 23 next april, our eldest will be 23 next sept We had only known each other 3 months, felt a big decision at the time but wouldn't change it for the world. Might swap the wife for a carbon White though
29 years for us in September. Figure I'd better stick with her as I don't think anyone else would put up with me
We are also on 20 years this August - 1995 clearly was a hot, hot summer of luuuurve. 😉
20 years since we met in September, 12 years married in June.
Time goes by bloody quick!
Ooh double post weirdness.
20 years tomorrow!!!
Card - check
Flowers - check
We had a trip to big town at the weekend to see the John Singer Sergent exhibition followed by dinner by the Thames looking at St Paul's.
Congrats to all
20 years married last Oct. No shortage of crusties on this forum....
Been with my wife for 22 years this year - only married for 3 though!!
I remember readily that I've been with mine for nearly 19 years but often struggle to remember that we have been married for 8.
Wow - there must have been something in the water - 20 years married in June here, 21 years together.
Still fun!
20 years tomorrow too! (Actually our first date because it took us 6 years and 3 kids before we bothered to get married).
20 years married in December
24 years together in November
Daughter turns 15 in August
Had a bloody good go at ballsing things up along the way, but bless her, she's stuck with me!
Had a cheapskate wedding with not much to remember, so (I'm) thinking of renewing our vows with something a bit nicer to celebrate our 20th
25 in august I think shes a keeper i feel a new bike coming on 😀
40yrs in June + 5 before that 😆
15 yrs last week for me - feeling like a youngster!!
Crikey...20 years for me too in a few months! Is this the generation that were at teens and early 20's when MTB first came big in the early 90's and then got houses and jobs in the mid 90's. Certainly a cluster of 20 year marriages on here!
15 years together, 6 years married next month.
Does that make us the 'Mint Sauce' generation, when MBUK was practically the only way to hear about mountain bikes and purple anodised accessories were king. Elastomer was a revolutionary concept. Fluorescent bright clothing was cool. Onza bar ends were a must. There was Suntour, Ned Overend & Missy Giove. Suspension was only for the top racers and well paid (still is IMO).
Happy days.
20 years 2 weeks ago.. Our eldest is 17 today and I'm stuck in Dubai. Ironically I was also here last month to miss her sisters and brothers 14th.
So happy birthday Lucy.
Surprise you say, is that why you had to build a new patio 😉
Happy anniversary!
You share it with my parents. But they're 54 years this year. You're still beginners......
I thoroughly recommend you post wedding pic on social media Mrs b loved it
🙄
20yrs. Fantastic 😀
24yrs together in December. Getting married in a few months so you've been married longer than us 😀
20 years for us last September.
She wore a Bula veil, I had purple anodised cufflinks 😉
21 years for us last week, never a cross word, it's hard to have a one sided argument.
Congratulations to all you long termers and in particular to you WCA.
In the 90's it was full rigid, 20 years later 5" of plush damping. Same with my bikes.
Celebrated 33 years as the Soks partnership in March, this year. Mrs Soks reckons I'm, almost, house trained.
never a cross word, it's hard to have a one sided argument.
With us- you'd think we were fiery Italians, hungover with pepper powder rubbed on our sensitive parts.
talking of browsing habits (popping OT for a mo), my Computer Guy came to check my computer and up popped an ad on Russian brides! 😳 Seriously, I have never checked out Russian Brides in my life.....everything else but! 😯
Needless to say he smirked at my protestations! 😥
Reminds me of the Tory MP who wrote a mocking article about the Labour Party website having adverts for call girls or rent boys on it.
He felt very smug until someone pointed out how the adverts that appeared were chosen
