Just blown a wad on various odds and sods and now I need a 3 or 3 man tent.

Budget is extremely tight.

Looking at this

http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/156995-vango-ark-200-plus-2-man-tent-black.html

or this

http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/255752-vango-soul-200-2-person-tent.html

Anything else that I should consider?

Harry, I've got an old Vango Equinox that I'll never use again, (60yr old with 60yr old knees/back/ankles etc) It's had little use but It's ok. I'm sure It's a 350 but not 100%. I'd take £35 plus postage.

Email in profile if you need to know more.

Have the Decathlon Air Seconds Family 4 - goes up in minutes, packs tiny.
The 2 man is even faster and smaller but I use the Quickhiker Ultralight ofr myself.

I've been using one of these for several years, it's just the right size for me, it would be cosy with someone you're 'friendly' with, but, like all 3-person tents, you'd have to be on very friendly terms for it to be workable with three adults.

I've got a Coleman instant thing you can borrow any time you want Andy. It's not massively substantial but more than enough for a few days Dad and lad adventure (which is what I got mine for).

If budget is "very tight," Halfords are doing one on offer at the minute for £16.

No idea how good it is (and at that price point I'd hazard "not very") but it's an option.

I take it you're using the EXPLORE20 code on that Blacks order?
