Hi All
Planning a 2 day bikepacking trip this weekend in N wales.
I have a loop that passes through Betws, bethesda, llanberis and blaenau.
More than happy to pay to park but looking for somewhere for 2 days.
I will be leaving our campervan so would rather somewhere a bit safer than one of the many laybys.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?
Bethesda area is my ideal parking spot as Blaenau is my preference for the overnight.
Thanks
There's a small parking spot behind Joe Browns in Capel Curig. No idea if it's pay and display however. Closer to Bethesda you could look around Llanlechid or Rachub.
Moel Siabod cafe at Capel Curing was good for this before Covid. They charge £5 a night for a campervan to park in the car park. During the day the cafe customers come and go but at night other campers are there, so it should be safe

Great tips thank you. I will try the cafe.
Joe Browns carpark was on my list as a possible but thought it may well fill up quickly with the bank holiday!
Thanks
The one behind Joe Brown is 150m away from the road whereas the Siabod cafe one is on the road and in full view.
There are also 2 little campsites between Capel and Ogwen cottage. It could be worth asking them how much they'd charge you to park there overnight
