Can anyone recommend a good route for a 2-3 day (1-2 night) gravel bike/credit-card touring trip in the UK, staying in hotels/B&Bs overnight and preferably in striking distance of the South West? I'm looking for something in a similar vein to previous trips around King Alfred's Way (which we spread over 4 days) and the East Devon Trail (3 days), say around 70-100km per day. The Trans Cambrian Way looks good but I can't make the accommodation work on our chosen dates (it's all booked) and I also like the look of the Woods Rat Run but couldn't make that work with accommodation. Thanks!
Bull Ring or Smoke Ring would be accessible from the south-west. Wolf Way in Suffolk also an option but would mean more travelling.
The West Kernow Way? It can easily be shortened
I have a set of gpx files i planned for a tour heading East from Exeter along the coast to Bournemouth and beyond . I haven’t yet ridden it. But you might find a section that works for you. It was planned in strava so i could see the heat map and with os maps on another screen. Let me know if you want me to find a way of sharing it.
I also have a route that i road on the isle of white over 2 half days and a full. We had 2 day’s in the same place. I have ridden that one and it could be extended
Slightly weird looking link above, sorry not sure what happened - it does take you to the right place though!
This would work over 2 days. With a night out in Oxford
