[Closed] 1st time -- How does one convert an AVI file to a DVD?

Got the files, when I click play I only get audio in Windows media player, how do I convert into video and audio - even better how do I out it on a DVD to play in a DVD player (as apposed to PC)? Cheers.

Evening,

Simple, you need a program that will do it.
Nero is probably the best, there is plenty of personalisation with the menu's and options.
But windows has one built in, its called Windows DVD maker. You drag in the AVI files, and it then makes a 'proper' DVD from them. It does take a while. About 30 min for a full DVD because it has to process all the AVI information.
If you haven't got the windows program theres plenty of free ones out there. Just google 'Free DVD maker'
