Anyone near Nottingham or Sheffield who might be able to loan me a 1/8" bspt tap or tap a brass fitting for me?
I'll have a look at work defiantly got 1/8" NPT should have BSP.

Only got a 1/8" NPT it'll probably do the job if it's only for low pressure.

Not much difference between bsp and npt up to about an inch
Sorry, got tied up today. It's so I can try to pressurise my seatpost. It needs to peak around 250 psi but not sustain it.
That'll be fine with a bit of ptfe tape.
I live in S8 but got draws full of fittings at work so will be able to sort something out.
