Some great bargains this year.
Max Hasting's Bomber Command is only 99p for example.
Well worth a look, I've bought a dozen or so already this morning. 😯
"The Elements of Eloquence: How to Turn the Perfect English Phrase" looks good!
Cheers for the heads up!
Perfect English Phrase ... "heads up!".
You really do need that book!
Post the link RS. I'm too lazy to search.
🙂
In the last half hour I appear to have bought;
Filthy English: The How, Why, When And What Of Everyday Swearing by
Peter Silverton.
Military Blunders by Saul David.
Them: Adventures with Extremists by Jon Ronson.
and
The Etymologicon: A Circular Stroll through the Hidden Connections of the English Language by Mark Forsyth, which was excellent as a BOTW on Radio 4 some time ago.
Enough for today I reckon. 😀

You don't DESERVE nice things.
Send me your Amazon password & I'll buy them for you shall I?
What have I done wrong 🙁
😀
Just type '12 days of Kindle' into your browser.
You can copy and paste if you like.
I don't know how to link to Amazon without linking to a specific account.
I've found it ya big pooh
it ya big pooh
Who's the author and is it any good?
Sounds like crap....
Linky for the professionally idle.

Right, you Kindle experts, who can help pretty please?
My new e-book is text only apart from tables with figures and words and they're in tiny tiny print. If I make text bigger then the tables don't change. Short of keeping a magnifying glass by my side, is there anything I can do?
Thanks in anticipation. 🙂
Hold it closer to your face?
I don't know TBH. On my Kindle you can adjust font size and line spacing and so on, but I don't know as there's a 'zoom' as such. Can you select the table and click-to-zoom? (I'm 99% sure I can do that with images.)
"Cooking with Poo" 😆
Hey, am I allowed to be sensible? Is a Kindle "Single" like a short story?
Just bought a Chuck Palahniuk one for 32p. He's my favouritest writer.
Thanks Cougar, I'll have a play around to see if I can do that. 🙂
Thanks for the heads up!
8 books bought for £12.01! - 7 of them through the 12 days of Kindle thing and another that is the first in the series of one of the 12 days of Kindle books - that one alone was £3.49 so really blew the budget! 😀
I went for:
American Assassin - Vince Flynn (non 12days, but prequel to...)
Killshot - Vince Flynn
Being Wrong: Adventures in the margin of error
Hitler's war on Russia
Bomber Command
I should know that: Great Britain
Military Blunders
Meeting in No Mans Land.....
Better go and put the wi-fi's on my Kindle!!
edit - Oh, and just bought Snapshot by Craig Robertson too!!
