So, my much abused Hubba needs retiring. I could just replace it of course, but tempted to try something different.
Looking at:
Copper Spur HV UL 1 Tent v 2022 FreeLite 1 Person Tent
Both aroune 330 quid. Anyone had both, or either? Any other options in a similar price? Just looking for a decent, all-round and lightweight back/bike-packing tent.
Advice welcome

Not quite as light but I've been really happy with my Force Ten Helium UL 2 (as a roomier, 1-man tent - they do a proper 1-man version as well!)
If ypu use walking poles how about a trekkertent. I have 2 and use walking poles when walking and bearbones cf poles when cycling. The smallest one i have is around 700g without poles
I've only used it for an overnight bikepacking trip so far, but my Terra Nova Laser Compact One is light enough at just over a kilo and packs down stupidly small. I've always been put off by the stupid cover the laser models needed to go over the pole ridge but this year they've done away with that and factory sealed the seams.
I got mine nicely discounted from Uttings:

Was going to say the Laser Compact One - was always the one man tent I wish I'd bought (I've got 3 others - all are good in their own way - lighter, roomier or 4 season tougher - but I think the laser one is probably the Goldilocks tent). All the freelance MLs I work with that own them swear by them. But I didn't suggest it as is out of your price bracket. - until Jamiea just popped up that cheap source.
In fact, could you PLEASE buy it so they are out of stock and prevent me from owning yet another one man tent! 🙂
No experience personally but have seen loads of threads on here & other places re. Terra Nova quality & particularly customer service becoming quite poor in recent years…

Lolz!
A general note worth bearing in mind, TN offer 30% off new full-priced tents purchased from them:

I've got an OEX which is a rip-off of a Terra Nova. And amazing value.
Which is probably why it's not available any more.
But it's great and they have other 1 man options now.
