If you got the email announcing the end of GCN+ and understood it first time, perhaps you should consider applying your brain to understanding politic ...

I'm just going to wait until the end of the season and watch the Earthed DVD.
I'll stick with the ST sub and whatever I find on Redbull TV.
What’s The Cheapest Way To Watch Mountain Biking Now GCN+ Is Closing?
Hang about at Rivington?
I'll pay whatever it costs for the full DH coverage. I also watch the Tours, the CX, indoors, etc, so don't feel i'll be over-paying. If it comes down to money, there's many many things i'd give up before the ability to watch cycling.
Don't suppose there's any word on whether D+ will continue to be bundled with Sky Q?

However this does carry the risk of witnessing me slithering down muddy ruts.
Already have Discovery Plus via BT - thought it was phone app only, but looks like I can use the web page to view stuff when logged in.
I have BT broadband (£30 per month), and no other BT products. I was able to create a Discovery+ account and access all of the live 2023 DH racing for free through linking it to my BT broadband account. Everything works fine.
Any hints on how to link the BT account?
I have Broadband only and cant see anywhere on their site to link or get code or anything?
Thanks in advance...
There is some streaming on the UCI Youtube channel including CX and XC going by the following link:
https://www.youtube.com/@ucichannel/videos?view=2&sort=dd&live_view=502&shelf_id=0
There is a warning though that it's subject to geo-blocking so I'll have to see this weekend if I can watch the CX in Troyes.
My post about UCI streaming seems to have disappeared but here's the link:
https://www.youtube.com/@ucichannel/videos?view=2&sort=dd&live_view=502&shelf_id=0
Remains to be seen what it's like and which countries are 'geo-blocked'.
I had Discovery+ for "free" when I had BT/TNT sport, when I cancelled that I lost all access to D+ even though I'm still a BT Broadband Customer.
Wonder what the options are using a VPN and pretending to be somewhere less rip-off-esque than Blightly ?
Much call for live cycling in Uzbekistan?

Eurosport sign up via a German VPN redirects you to Discovery+ with a 40 Euro per year sign up option. I haven't checked that it will let you complete the process though.. will save that for next year.

As Hannah said, Seems its the gonna be £6.99 for cycling, inc. grand tours and loads of stuff I'm uninterested in like tennis etc
(I downloaded the app, signed up on free, and then nd went part way trying to watch some cycling. Which got me to the 3x screen shots for the 3 packages. Cycling of any kind greyed out as unavailable on the £3.99/m option
Glad they are offering a cheaper plan with just Eurosport stuff rather than all the BT SPort stuff.
That said, the cheaper way I found was an EE Mobile plan that comes with a 'free' extra, which can be TNT sports. Since the move from BT to TNT it's actually cheaper as there is no £5 surcharge for 'big screen' apps.
What happens when shareholders aren’t happy with their return on investment and Warner Bros Discovery pull the plug on DH and Enduro.
Cancelling GCN+ seems to me to be the first step in killing off the goose that laid the golden egg.
Already looking forward to the RedBull Hardline series taking over from the World Cup
I don't think there is a golden egg, which is why it is being shut down...
If it was working, I suspect they'd be keeping it going, but given there is a finite number of people interested in watching (and I'm guessing most are already subscribed) then it appears it isn't working for the fat cats.
I can’t remember just now but will try to find out for you what I did.
Ideal, thanks.
