When providing links, in articles like this, please try to make the link go to the specific page, rather than just the home page of the host site - this will reduce the chances of the reader stumbling across results from events that they haven't yet seen.

Don't ask how I know this...?

On a technicality it's not free on iPlayer, you still need a TV Licence, which I don't have.

It'll be nice if they do follow the world cup's lead and televise the juniors. Fingers crossed that there's something to watch on Thursday

Are the entry rules different for downhill and cross-country?

Given the difference in profile and funding british cycling have betwwen xc and dh its odd there is such a large team list for dh compared with the xc one.

So no live streams of any races so far; and we wonder why MTB is the poor relation. Not good enough in 2024.

If Cyclocross can manage to have live coverage of all their races, then what's the excuse for MTB? If local organisers/ TV can't afford it, then maybe the UCI shouldn't give them the championships....

The XC Relay was definitely streamed live last year, and maybe even the XCO Juniors from memory, as well as U23, Elites.....

Both good races (available on disco+ just like a regular WC)

nice short track course with more singletrack than most.

camerawork was poor.

Well, doesn't that just suck! Especially as D+ seem to have ended their £3.99/m offer...

Coverage of the short track on discovery+ was shocking last night. Cameras were in strange places and there wasn’t a side on view of the finish line.

The director failed SO many times to choose to follow the leading pair as things got close to the finish. Charlie A made a huge 50/50 overtake move into a flat hairpin but the camera didn’t pan to see how it finished. They almost missed Evie and PPV completely for the last half of the final lap.

It was awful.

BBC make it so difficult to find out if it's on.

Link above from balfa suggests no livestream on BBC. Discovery+ has it on live fortunately.

Big-bud I don’t know where you got the info that you can’t be prosecuted for no licence. Currently approximately 1000 per week are prosecuted for it.

Just a heads up that the XCO has been brought forward (and combined / shortened) to miss the bad weather later. I guess that probably means it won't be live on iPlayer now - boo!
