The World Championship road race in Glasgow, a millisecond after the riders had gone by with all life - drunkards, the bored, the keen cyclists and the people who've never expressed an interest in bikes before - represented.
i just bloody love autumn
One of the most stunning views I've ever seen on the bike, near Courmayeur on the last day of the Tour of Mont Blanc this year. As usual the (phone) camera doesn't fully capture the beauty, but...

Out with the Wednesday evening riding crew on the Northern Scarp of the Black Mountains looking towards Pen y fan. Floh catching her breath before the wild ride down the Dragons Back Ridge in the foreground.

Above Arten Gill (above Dentdale), taken with my phone and shortly before I noticed the snow clouds rolling in and I skedaddled back down!

This lunch stop, after a long hot climb (that's Oli Townsend wrapped up in the photo, I was still baking hot even with the release of the cooler air up there, and despite having the eclipse to reduce the heat of the sun on the way up the 4x4 track you can see snaking away below), was pretty much the last time I felt truly "out there"... have felt like I'm inside since coming back to the UK... even when getting up high on rides I've been in or under a heavy cloud (not a metaphor).
Toilet facilities on Pila downhill!
