£48 for a brush or an extra £5 for a bit of leather string attached to it.

No need to do any articles about the dire state of the bike industry just take a look at the prices of anything featured today.

So now we know where all the 502 Club money went: getting David Tennant in to do the Megasack videos.

That Honda RN-01 G-cross was such an iconic bike, and a huge amount of fuss was made of how the gearbox and suspension made it the fastest bike on the DH circuit.

Watching the footage back, I suspect a big part of that was due to the fact that they had a certain Mr Minnaar piloting it.

I know it's boring and predictable, but honestly, 50 quid for a wooden dustpan brush!

I usually subscribe to the the theory of buy cheap, buy twice and get decent quality tools and the like, but when it's a case of buy cheap, buy 15 times from the hardware shop, and I'm still a few pounds to the good, I'll stick with the local shop offerings thanks.

If your going to charge that much for a brush at least make product with a useful feature rather than just eco marketing copy

Have Shimano shoes got any wider (especially in the toe box) in recent years?

The Durty Brewing bar is Inners is great. The beer is excellent and they do the sensible thing of not doing food but letting you order in from the local takeaways. Proper beer and stodge after a days riding can't be beaten.
