Let’s be truly British and talk about the weather, eh? It seems that no sooner have you been given a glimpse of spring than it all goes bonkers again ...

Wow! The nost expensive bottle opener I have seen in my life. I would be tempted but sadly most wine seems to come in screw top bottle.
But the good news is I am doing a charity rough sleep tonight, and my Singletrack hip flask is full of Talisker and ready to go.

You've not seen the gold-plated Campagnolo corkscrew then, @woo 🙂
Hip flasks do a great job of making all spirits taste great, especially when temperatures drop. Have a good night!

That Hope frame is gorgeous. Imagine it built up with all oil-slick parts...! Too tacky? 😀

I do wonder if all the publicity around airtag holders is a good thing.

your gerber link to amazon doesn't work, it just goes to amazon's generic site. FYi amazon have the dime for less than £24 and I'd like to use a link to give STW a tiny bit of cash if you could fix it?

If I ever do another pointlessly expensive dream bike build, I'll be starting with that Hope frame.

Next to no chance now that I don't have access to trade pricing.

Death before RRP!

Its a bit catch22.
If you don’t promote your stealthy security product no one will buy it.
If you do promote it, bike thieves will know to look for it.
Personally I think airtags have their limitations… they alert iphone uses if a tag is tracking them. Plus even if you the tag tells you where the bike is, the police often don’t assist. I think the future is immobilisers and GPS trackers built into ebikes.

All fair points bud. Sadly way too many examples of the Police seemingly not interested in helping to recover stolen goods. But in the same breath advise owners not to 'take the law in their own hands'.

The last point, I'm off to recover my bike. But I have a slight advantage of my own lovely bunch of nutters to call upon. 😂

Doubt it, not exactly stopped car theft!

The bigger issue is that often the police thing bike crime is some sort of low level issue, but clearly often it is part of much wider criminality so would be a good additional route in to tacking other crime.

The Gerber Dime is a great multi-tool, use it daily for hardcore IT'ing

Met John the seat post man a few weeks ago. Not mine went along with a mate. Really nice chap great job removed post from carbon frame with no damage. No idea how he does it. Sent us off to a cafe and gave us a call an hour later. Top man

That Hope wasn't a good thing to see with an imminent lump sum incoming. I'll have to go and do some more sums!!

About that Hope: It's on, Rhys!

About the Dime: I have owned several and they are excellent. Careful not to over stress the plier, whose tips can be quickly ground down on a bench grinder to work as chain pliers.

The cuffs on that nukeproof jacket put me off it, makes the sleeves look like you've got your arms in ducting. It's easier to end up with dirty cuffs as well.

@Woo did the charity rough sleep go ahead? Because that was probably one of the worst nights this year for sleeping out! Pop a link to the fundraiser in the comments, I reckon that's got to be worth a few quid...

I hadn't really registered the size of the Gerber until it arrived today; it's tiny.
