Not the most elevation gain on this track, but super technical terrain that makes it very physical. The technical nature of the track means that optimum bike setup is important.
The women's race is now underway!!!
Rissveds leading throughout the start lap so far. The amount of single track sections in the track are making overtaking hard and causing track blockages. That means the racers in the front are getting further away quicker than they otherwise would.
Rissveds, Neff, Keller and Lecomte coming through a second apart from each other by the end of start lap.
Loana has launched an attack and gaps are opening up in the leading field!
Keller has overtaken Lecomte and the crowd is pleased to see a Swiss rider leading.
Just tuned in, Annie Last in 17th...
Neff fighting back to get to the front of the chasing pack near the second tech feed zone.
Big gaps now between Lecomte, Rissveds and Keller with Lecomte leading.
Terpstra leading the chasing group now.
Lecomte leading into the last lap. Rissveds pushing hard to catch up with an 8 second gap, and Keller is only 2 seconds behind Rissveds, both of them trying to catch Loana on this last lap.
Keller overtook Rissveds for a bit and then they swapped places again!
Lecomte takes the win, Rissveds finishes second and Keller gets her career best finish after being third to cross the line!
Prevot finishes fourth after a sprint effort against Terpstra.
Will N1no become the GOAT in front of his home (he lives there) crowd?
Not great by the host broadcaster to miss the decisive attack from Lecomte live. And Rob & Bart in RB hq Salzburg rather from the venue....
Men's race is now underway!!
Schurter is leading and he's pushing hard, driven by the crowd going wild!
Dascalu who was in the leading group has crashed and damaged his bike!
David Valero Serrano leading, with Mathias Flueckiger, Schurter and Colombo following close behind.
Flückiger has launched an attack and Nino is following close behind but THE RACE IS ON!
Schurter, Flückiger, Braidot and Hatherly leading into the final lap!
Braidot takes his first ever World Cup win at Lenzerheide!!!!
Nine must be gutted, and they cut away on both crucial passes, what happened?!
Hatherly finished second, followed by Flückiger. Schurter finished 4th!
"it's racing"
Didn't Nino use that line 🤔
Isla Short back on the start line too. Good to see!
So... what happened in the woods? From Pinkbike it sounds like Flukiger went for a line and took Nino out. Leaving the door open for Braidot and Hatherly. Good race, pleased for Braidot, disappointed for Nino.
There will be some footage somewhere on a phone.
Anyway, I am disappointed for the race, not for Nino. It was an excellent race and great to see Braidot and Hatherly sprint it out. But the afters from Nino are disappointing. Leave it on the track and set a good example for upcoming budding racers. If this was Le Tour, he'd be out.
Edit - he has a penalty fine.
What a race, the pace was relentless. Braidot was brilliant - thats how you pickup wins in events like this, by being in the right place at the right time for that time when the expected leaders/winners mess up. Great to watch.
Shame the red mist got to them both a bit by the sounds of it HOWEVER - look what they are doing, the effort going in, the intensity! Its a great sport to watch nowadays.
Does seem poor form from Nino - racing incident it would seem that is until I see otherwise...
It was a great weekend of racing with the DH as well.

It reads as Fluckinger tried a pass when it wasn't really on...
