Hmm, those DHR2's seem suspiciously cheap.

Ordered a couple anyway, despite the listed weight of 2150g each!

bikester had those bbt-9s at £9 and the bottles at under a fiver during their sale. Sadly now finished..

edit : ah the bottle wasn't the chill version - so not exactly the same (the chill is bigger and wouldn't fit where I needed a bottle). The chill version is still pretty cheap direct from camelbak though

Cheap Things Tuesday: Everything Under £25

Ahem

Maxxis Minion Assegai 29 x 2.4in Tyre was £54.99, now £34.99

It's a bargain and all but £34.99 isn't less than £25

Yep, I've got one on the way hopefully.

It’s a bargain and all but £34.99 isn’t less than £25

And it apparently weighs 2941g 😀

to be fair, looks like typos all round cos it's only 24.99 on the website.

Don't be so sure that weight is wrong...

There is a reason a trail bike weighs 16kg these days...

I think that's a problem with the EU Maxxis site. Maxxis US lists them as 1230ish

Rekon Races are coming up as 1.477 which certainly isn't correct.

On a more serious note, I clicked the "See deal at CRC" link under the stem and it took me to a page called Cheap things Tuesday on a site called Singletrackworld. I dun fink thats write

Internetty question...

I'm not buying anything on this list but if I do want something from Tweeks or Ribble in the near future can I come back to this page, click through to the website, navigate to another product and still see STW get a backhander?

Just wondering.

EU site in lbs and USA in kg then at a guess!

Shark. Yes, that's how it works. You don't need to buy the item we link to for us to earn the commission. We will get a commission on anything you buy from that retailer.

I'll keep that in mind after payday and make sure to enter the site through this page.

Those "ribble" cable cutters are ace. I mean, they're just generic wire rope cutters, same as Pedros etc but that's fine because generic wire rope cutters are ace, and £7's a decent price.

Assegai tyre is actually a 2.5

The tyres are Exo, so maybe more of a trail tyre weight.
Not for the eeb.
