I don't often agree with the winning choice, but I do with this...is a very capable bike.
If it had been launched a few months ago I would have bought it as my first new bike in the last twenty years, I would have then been very annoyed by the price drop to £999!! They're now sold out online and only available in-store. I’ve located one but fortunately it’s the wrong size…. Sensible pricing, now we just need consumables- tyres, pads, chains etc to come down to sensible levels.
In today's world where even a mid-spec alloy trail bike usually costs several thousand pounds, this is great to see.
I have a bit of an internal wrangle, and would always like to see people buying bikes from their LBS rather than a retail giant, but there's no denying that more people having access to great bikes is a good thing.
