Isn't the point of the perforated design that they let water in, but thave drain hole in the soles so they also let it out, therefore not filling with water?

I use mine with waterproof socks in the winter, with a thin sock underneath for warmth. Probably could have done with sizing up half a size for this though.

Cuff to keep stones out? Works well on my old Shimano GR700s. Although didnt Amanda say these were too baggy?

Cuff really good for keeping dry trail debris out - seems to be a real problem with skate style shoes.

Interesting these are mentioned as having a generous toe box - previously I've found Adidas trailcross stuff ridiculously narrow.
