I would love to enter but I've had to close my Raffle account as they constantly spammed me with other raffles, @dazza being the biggest culprit that I had never agreed to. When I requested that they stop sending me these emails they said I had been removed from their "marketing list" but I still continued to receive raffle after raffle from them for the following week so had to close my account and block their domain. It is a shame as it looks like a good platform to use for raising funds for Singletrack and this might just have been a one off for me but there was no control for how often they emailed me and it very quickly became annoying. Hopefully others don't have this issue but wanted to voice my experience with the platform so far.
Not too fussed about winning but I have chucked you £20 anyway. Keep up the good work.
I've just bought the winning ticket folks 🙂
Ill probably have to flog it if I win but entered.😁
You are all amazing. Thanks guys 🙂
This raffle idea is great. I’d love to win that bike, and I want the mag/forum to keep going. It literally is a win-win. 😄
Lovely bike that. Will nicely replace my 2015 bike what I is strugglin wiv honest guv.
Does Mark know which day it's drawn this time? 😛
Hmm. But which colour? I think I'm leaning towards the grey...
It’s probably been discussed already, but I regularly get inundated with “win your dream bike” kind of stuff on social media, and I’ll admit that I’ve been tempted on the odd occasion, even when it’s a road bike. Isn’t there scope to run these kinds of raffles as a full time side line? I would have thought STW is ideally placed to get bikes a good price, using as a kind of marketing tool for the industry. In effect a new form of advertising. Also a wee incentive to up the membership, say one entry per mag received kind of thing.
It's a good idea and one we are considering. You are right in that we re in a good position to get bikes either at trade pricing or in exchange for wider promotion across the site.
or in exchange for wider promotion across the site.
Let's just hope that if that happens the cynics in here won't think that the suppliers are just buying better reviews.
I'm just waiting for the good news on 24th May, when my biggest problem will be choosing the colour.
Does STW have an 'official' colour, as that would be quite appropriate?
I occasionally enter the dream bike raffle: https://thedreambikecompetition.co.uk/
A fairly well-known and long-running small business which I understand sometimes struggles finding enough people to make the draws worthwhile. I wonder if there's scope for some sort of joint venture between him and STW?
Maybe it then wouldn't raise enough to support both... but both would get increased publicity.
🤷♀️ thought it was worth suggesting, anyway.
Entered. Definitely going to win and do some actual bike riding. Yup.
Love you guys more than the bike. Entered.
Entered, and summer comes to an end.
A sign....🤞

^^ Sorry mate but you've been gazumped, I bought the winning one a few days back.
I'll have to sell it though, so I'm accepting offers?

Clearly the wrong ticket has been drawn by mistake 😢
Didn't win? Don't fret. There's going to be another raffle next week 🙂
