Thanks for the reminder, it's been on my to-do list. I've just moved house and rediscovered all my old print copies of the magazine (from number 1!) that I moved with me to the other side of the World. I read a few articles of old and got all nostalgic about riding with Kevkillskonas (lost touch, is he still on here?), the Berkshire on Bikes gang and oop North back home riding around Dalby forest and the Yorkshire Dales. Had some epic adventures inspired by fellow readers back in the day who I'd met through the STW website. Have my donation in full and save your postage money on shipping a t-shirt to NZ, it's all good, cheers!
T shirts coming back into stock or are they actually, er, limited edition?
I seem to be the only one peeved by this.
• A special TShirt for those who donate £50 or more. Which would have been an incentive to some, but I know not all.
• A couple of months later the special limited edition shirt is on sale for £30.
• The 'limited edition' tshirt is now re-ordered.
There's an arrogance to this - you can no longer count on my donations.
sort the emojis & I'll buy one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯With the new donations that have come in we will be reordering stock.
We put a total of 12 t-shirts on sale. The re-order is needed because of the new donations we've received, not t-shirt orders. The extras were ordered to deal with the fact we didn't have everyone's sizes so through a combination of guesswork and over ordering we covered that issue. By the time the t-shirts were delivered Zoe had filled in a large majority of the blanks in her spreadsheet for the sizing - This left us with a quantity of T-shirts that were now no longer needed for the donators. we decided to sell these and turn them into cash rather than have them sat on the shelf. What we didn't anticipate was the surge in donations that came when we put the dozen extras on sale. This is now why we are ordering more.
I hope that explains things.
