So travel has increased by 10mm each end but it’s still classed as a trail bike. I have this years 29er and thought that was on the crossover between trail and enduro. Be interesting to see the weights.

Good to see a playful 27.5 trail bike with an enduro focus + those geometry settings. Also, Giant usually make the lightest bikes which is very appreciated for many.
Really a good contender for those in the market.

Great suspension design, remember mine from the late noughties, loved it. Good to see 27.5 isn't dead but we get too hung up on wheel size. Doubt it will feel significantly different to its 29 sibling.

Looks great, sensible pricing, Maestro suspension which is for me one of the best suspension designs out there. Not sure how those head angle figures would work for day to day riding though. Looks like an uplift / bike park focussed ride, on paper at least.

Wouldn’t think the headangle a would be an issue for day to day riding. My Aether 7 is just over 64 degrees (with a 150mm fork) and it turns into corners pretty well - it has short chainstays which help with this.

As long as this Trance X has nice poppy / supportive suspension for pedalling then it’s sounding like a pretty good bike to me. Never really fancied a Giant but this one actually looks pretty nice.
