Has anyone else chosen to ride the ZRL ?.
I'm in a 6.15 EMEA W slot, which should mean I can also try any later STW rides, should they appear. I've *joined* a Herd team - Bucking Broncos.
Just getting my head around the leagues/slot/scoring. It looks like an administration nightmare, but they seem to be on top of it so far.
In my league slot 1 there are 21 teams, of minimum 6 riders. There are scratch races and team time trials, alternate weeks,
In the races, only the top 30 riders get real points. If you are not at the top of your category range, I suspect you will not make it into the top 30 finishers. I am not at the top of my range. Every rider gets a point for riding though. So if you are not in that top 30 bunch, may as well cruise - seems a bit brutal.

Pretty much covered in the other thread; if it wasn't on a Tuesday I think more people would be up for it (I'd definitely have a crack) but the STW rides have shown me that even riding virtually on Zwift, being with people you "know" adds a huge extra dimension. I actually now have zero interest in riding in a team of randoms against other randoms just to maybe put a number next to my name on some online table if it means missing out on the STW rides! Plus as you say it does sounds overcomplicated. Have fun though, hopefully you'll have a laugh & get to "know" your team 😃
