Hi all
Any Zwift users out there? I was forced to update on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite today which it then forced me to uninstall first.
After the uninstall Google Play it told me that my device isn't compatible despite having used it for 2 - 3 years now.
Has anyone else had any device problems from the latest update?
Many thanks
What Android system is installed? Some lost Zwift support in last ~6 months.
According to the system I have:
One UI Version: 5.0
Android Version: 13
Kernel Version: 4.14.113-25436157
Build Number: TP1A
Knox Version: 3.9
Android Security Patch Level: 1st Feb 2023
Have checked for udpates and I am up to date.
You are upto date on stuff. One UI 5.1 is the very latest. Could it be proessing power ?
I think Android 13 has caused some Zwift issues before, can't recall details, my mobiles that often run Zwift are Android 10 and 12.
I've got an S6 Lite with Zwift on, although I normally use a PC.
Just did an update and then Zwift asked me to do an update via the Play store.
I did that and it then opened fine. That was "just watching".
I'm not sure about all the software revisions, but I always apply updates so it should all be as up to date as possible.
Have you tried uninstalling and sticking it back on?
Hi @stumpy01. Is your model the SM-P610? Should just say on the back of the tablet.
My issue is that Zwift told me to update so I went to play store. Only option was uninstall so I did that with expectation of then installing.
Now I go to Play Store and Zwift isn’t there for my device. If I take a web link from Zwift to get the app from play store I land on the Zwift page in the store but am told that I don’t have a compatible device.
When did you do your update?
Yeah, is the same version: sm-p610 64gb.
I updated when I saw your post so about 2 hours ago.
Weird that we are seeing different results.
It might be worth asking the question on the Zwift forum. I've always found it quite a good source of info & feedback.
More than 4GB of free storage space?
Yep. Even made sure I’m not using all my space with Netflix and all good.
RESOLVED:
Thanks for all the suggestions. I heard back from Zwift and they suggested as below.

Hello - sorry for your troubles. We are looking into this now. As you say it makes no sense, and no, we didn’t drop support for the S6 lite.
We’ve had some random reports of this (devices suddenly being reported incompatible) in the past.
It could an issue with Google’s Android operating system.
Try clearing the Google Play Store cache, and then clearing the data.
Then restart the Google Play store app.

So it's back working again for you kaj0103?
Good news if so!
Happy days!
Yes. All working again. They said they do get the odd report of this. Learnt a new troubleshooting tip for the future 🙂
Holy thread resurrection.
Anyone still having Zwift issues running on Samsung s6 lite tablet?
Mine has been fine for 2 years but recently had been disconnecting from Zwift after about an hour of riding (so near the end of one of my rides).
All updates are err up to date.
@eckinspain
I rarely use mine for Zwift now, but keep it updated in case my PC has an issue.
A couple of weeks ago, I had to do a fresh install of Windows, so used my S6 Lite. I didn't have any issues with it, but probably only ride for an hour max.
Have you tried deleting data and clearing the cache for the app? Always worth a try. Maybe a fresh install as a last resort?
Sorry. Not much help!
Thanks I'll try. I didn't ride for more than an hour previously so maybe the slightly longer rides are causing it to run out of working memory (?)
