What's the cheapest setup I need for zwifting? I have a macbook,  and a smart tv I can cast to. Do I have to spend megabucks on a turbo?

I picked up a tacx flow for £90 on eBay so I would say no!

Same model as this and pretty popular for those zwifting on a budget.

You can always buy new with BC membership for £180

Depends on budget! Direct drive turbos are a massive improvement IMO, halfords have the Flux for 399 now, possible discounts on top. Otherwise Flow as above, a mate had one which he was pleased with but has now killed it after quite a few thousand miles!

I have a Tacx Flow and it does that job. Apparently it's not as smooth changing resistance as some but I've never noticed a problem with it for my needs.

I have one of these:  https://www.halfords.com/cycling/turbo-trainers/trainers/elite-novo-smart-turbo-trainer

Bought for £162 (with BC discount). Budget for a generic Ant+ dongle from eBay too (I paid £12 for one). All works ok so far 🙂
