My wife got me the wahoo kickr core with the swift cog for Christmas and I like it a lot. But something that does confuse me is that the zwift cog doesn't work in the wahoo app it seems... I appreciate that the name of the cog is the zwift cog - but given it is sold by wahoo, I would have assumed that it would have worked in their app as well? Otherwise if you buy the product off of the wahoo website as we did - apart from registering and updating the firmware in the wahoo app, you never use it ever again because you can't.
Am I'm missing something here? Why would wahoo sell something that essentially locks the consumer out of their app?
You can replace the Cog with a standard cassette.
oh yes i know that, i just wonder why wahoo sell a product that doesnt work in their ecosystem as sold ?
