Anyone else get any problems trying to get going on an Apple TV set up?
It's all up and running and it does work a lot of the time. But on some occasions, the devices connect (kikr core) and I can see my cadence etc, but when I fire up a work out, the erg mode refuses to engage (it says it's on but I'm essentially free riding.)
The only way to rectify it is to switch the whole set up off and on.
I tried to join a race t'other night, it put me on the start line, but I couldn't see the other competitors and when it started, I didn't move!
Can’t help with Erg mode - don’t think I’ve done a workout yet since I moved to an ATV setup last year!
Usually if other riders disappear this is because of WiFi/internet dropout. I take it everything is up to date (including companion app if you use it?)
I get the occasional issue where the Zwift app stays loaded but I turn my trainer off, then on again for the next session. Zwift then sometimes says it’s connected but it doesn’t actually work I.e. you pedal but no power registers. If I remember I usually force quit the Zwift app when I’ve finished which stops this happening.

I think this is potentially the cause. I edit the app by pressing the menu button on the remote, but this doesn't properly close the app. How do you "force quit" it?
You double tap the TV button on the remote, then go left/right to Zwift and slide it up, that should quit it and make it reload next time.
Thanks, I'll give it a go.
Ok, I've learnt how to close app's on the Apple TV now so that's good!
But today it says an update is required before it can be used, go the Apple store, click update and it just says "coming soon!"
Anyone else having this problem!?
