I'm looking to build a new 26" rear wheel for my HT xc speed machine.

Currently looking at Stan's ZTR Crest, Olympic and Alpine. They all look pretty much similar spec. I have a Crest already which I am pretty happy with.

Any recommendations on the Olympic / Alpine?
Why?
Help me decide please?!

Olympic is just the older Alpine, you'll struggle to find them. Alpine is a bit lighter than a Crest, and very slightly narrower.

I've got a set of DT240s on Alpines I need to sell if you want a matching pair!

Thanks njee, that helps. I have a Crest spare as a front so may just go in that direction for the rear

I am currently "over 170lb" so Podium possibly for another time.

I've just found this which helps too http://www.notubes.com/ZTR-Rims-C18.aspx

I had some Podiums, much tougher than I anticipated, although I am under the weight limit.

Yep I've been very surprised how much I can do with them and that they have not cracked despite being a few years old now.
