I'm planning on getting my hope hubs built up with new rims for riding mainly in the Peak - I tend to abuse wheels so something which will take a beating. Thinking of going for flow ex but have been offered the old flows at a very reasonable price which is tempting as I'm on a tight budget. Does anyone have any experience of both and is there much difference in the real world? Any advice appreciated.
I've clumsily and heavily ridden some original Flows for nearly 6 years. They are still true and completely fine.
^ this for me: my Flows have done a few Alps trips now on top of all of my trail riding and, aside teasing out a few dinged sidewalls, i haven't had to touch them
