Changed the air spring in my Zeb recently, two rides later my new damper has arrived (was missing bits when it arrived, otherwise I'd have done it at the same time.
So I'm thinking now thatI dont really need to fully remove lowers, just separate from lowers on damper side, unscrew from the top, and screw the new one in?
Any flaws in this plan?
excuse the self bump - anyone done this?
Cant see why this wouldn't work.
A little oil in the lowers before bolting up just in case you lose any and it should be reet.
Yeah, don't mind freshening the oil in damper side, even if it is just two rides old, planning to leave forks on the bike for this so don't think I can pull it off without spilling any
