As above. There are two bearings at the bottom of each chainstay, separated by a 1mm or so spacer with notches in it. For the life of me I can’t get the punch to gain enough purchase in the spacer notch to shift either bearing.
Am I missing something really obvious here? The suspension bearings elsewhere on the frame have come out straightforwardly with the same tool. Thoughts? Nowt on YouTube about it.
Do you not need a tool like this to remove those double blind chainstay bearings?

Not done it on a YT but I'm guessing it's similar to specialized horst link which needed a tool like above.
Yes, probably need a blind bearing puller. The spacer could be a flange if it's like Specialized/Bird.
Don't have an Izzo, but that sounds the same as other YTs, which can be rather tight. I did bought the blind bearing puller above but it didn't work, in the end using the drift/punch did the trick.
Doing the bearing swap as a favour for a mate, and doubt he’ll want to shell out £55 for the YT tool. (Bought the Santa Cruz tool for my own bike a few years ago, only to find the hammer and punch tool far more effective.)
Sooooo, guess I’ll persist with hammer/punch/many cups of tea, and see how I get on.
Cheers all!
Perhaps you know this already, so apologies if you do, but I found pouring a few few boiling kettles over the area as you are about to knock the bearings out helps a lot.
