The shock on my 2016 Capra has just died and I’m looking to replacing it with a ccdb, have any of you done the same? Do you rate it?
Cheers
James
Coil shocks suit the Capra very well as it has an ultra-progressive leverage rate. I ran an Ohlins on mine but have no personal experience with the CCDB.
You can also choose the same shock stroke length as the pro-race model to get the additional 10mm of travel - the frame is the same its just a longer shock
ccdb air or coil? I have the air DB CS on my 18 capra and very impressed with it.
Thanks for the responses
Looking at the coil
Partly because It should work well with the progressive suspension design and partly because I want it shimmed to maintain the current amount of travel, I don’t think I can do that with an air shock
