Good experience; had one several years ago. Solid, bulletproof but heavy - certainly compared to the Cotic Souls I had before and then after it. Great value for money.

Depends where you are, you're welcome to have a look at mine - it may well be for sale since I don't cycle any more...

Great frames, very versatile.
I've ridden all sorts on mine from peak district rocks to touring Peru.

I love mine and would definitely buy another. Its such a good all rounder, I don't think I will ever sell it. Its the Mk2 and the build quality is superb, I am currently trying to collect a mixture of Dialled bikes. I recently bought an mx20 and the next on the list is a Holeshot.

I can only comment on the Prince Albert Classic (PAC) frame looking well made as its been in a box waiting to be built up for 2+ years 🙁 I liked the BFe so much I never transfered bits over as a comparison. I do now however have a full groupset in a box here and some other bits so early 2015 should see it hit the dirt.

EDIT: PAC was bought as a pre-order so very tempting on price and it's exactly the sort of design which appealled, do it all style bike which can take bigger fork (I have some older 36 talas 110-150 travel).

@scott - Glorious Goodwood, plus I imagine it will be PA 275 or nothing

I'm picking up a rather special PA at the end of the month; a 'big wheeled' prototype Mike has found for me in the shed...

Best 26" bike I've ever owned bar none.

In my quest for the right hard tail, I bought one in the classifieds quite a few years ago. The numbers were right, but I decided that it was too heavy. To my shame I never built it and just sold it on.

even in 2015, with all kinds of different wheelsizes, so far unknown new standards, and meanwhile rare 1 1/8 straight forks..the PA rules..
rides quite different to the BFe...
here is another special PA which mike found in his warehouse some time ago..

Love mine.
Not that heavy. 17" and weighs a smidge under 5lb (853)
Builds into a lovely versatile bike. 1x10 with 40t and dropper, ride any where type of thing.

Here's mine:

Was a cracking ride, but I do prefer my bfe now. However, the bfe is built upwithall new kit, tough as anything and weighs considerably less than the pa, so I may be a bit unfair to compare them both.

Neither descended as well as my old ns surge though.

Have had a few Dialleds, even one of the first batch PAs with "that" bit of tube. Great bikes.

Would have loved to try the 29er PA that Mike designed but I heard he lost enthusiasm for MTB with the proliferation of wheel sizes and yet more "standards" so it's been shelved.

This maybe utter cobblers 😉

@jambalaya...my Bfe and PA have quite similar kits, mostly old parts...except..the PA with an old pike 140mm (2005),BFe with new pike 150mm...
wouldn`t say one is better than the other, just different..like them both
angles are a bit steeper on the PA ...and after long days on the trails it seems more comfortable to me..but thats maybe only the 27,2 seatpost..
would be interesting to know what you think when your PAC is build up..

Yep the dialled Facebook page seems very BMX heavy these days and MTB light, shame they make some cracking bikes

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words, and it's nice to see people still feel the love for the Dialled Bikes brand.

Scottfitz, sorry that the 29'er project never went to production. I got to final pre-production prototype stage (just sold the last 2 off actually) but the whole industry-driven-for-the-sake-of-it/creating-a-solution-for-problems-that-don't-exist 26/29/650B thing pissed me off so I decided to take a break from doing MTB stuff altogether and focussed on my new race only BMX venture, Factory Team Bikes (FTB).

When I re-find the passion for MTB again and the industry as a whole stops dicking people about and settles on a wheel size, I will bring out some more Dialled Bikes stuff (people are already running Alpines as 650B anyway). I still love riding my mountain bikes!

It's nice not to be forgotten though 😉

Dialled ain't dead - it's just resting (still have frames in stock, just not working on anything new right now).
