Fantastic weekend of riding for me. BPW on Friday and then a ride from Talybont on Usk Saturday. Got soaked and covered in mud. Introduced my mate to tussock riding! Cwmcarn on Sunday.

Three days of epic riding/pushing/hanging on for dear life including the last one on a fat bike after my forks exploded with no injuries. Then slammed fingers in van door --> broken finger 🙁
Alex, that 5th pic looks steeeeeeeeep...
That was nuts! We climbed about 750m to get ABOVE nan bield. Took a while. This was the trail down to the start of NB. It was incredible exposed as well. I didn't ride much of it, Cez (pic) rode most of it. Kind of got me warmed up for top section of Nan Bield tho. Never ridden all that before. Although I many-dabbed!

Hi Alex - Friday pic is Ullock Pike. Which is not strictly a BW hence ridden on a Friday 😉
Saturday is the woods at Claife down from Far Sawrey to Windermere (Harrow Slack on the map). Sunday is the BW down from Natty Bridge over near Torver/Walna Scar.

Went out for a bimble this arvo and having stopped to take a shot for this thread, I rejoined the trail slowly cruising when I spotted this little fella just the other side of the hedge from me..
I couldn't get the second hand camera to do anything and it wasn't until later that I realised it was on a custom setting that I didn't recognise, but still managed to grab these two pics.. (oh for the days when I didn't instinctively reach for a camera when encountering nature close up)
The deer wasn't shy in the slightest and once he'd noticed me he moseyed over for a closer look

Just back from a fab week in Dorset, on the Isle of Purbeck. Lots of walking and running, plus my first proper bike ride in years after recently getting back into it. After umming and aahing about 'upgrading' my bike to something more current, the week has convinced my to hang on to my Stiffee. Since the oily bits are already pretty worn, I took the opportunity to ride everywhere in the middle ring. Conversion to 1x11 is now on the cards.

First weekend since I got the Ok to ride from my foot operation. Had a couple of pootles from home in the week then this weekend we have been playing in Wharncliffe and up onto Cutgate. Foot feels a lot better now I don't have as much metal in it.
